Visitors will not be permitted in the State Legislative Assembly complex till further order in this regard, an official press release said here on Tuesday.

The Government also issued an order directing employees not to use the bio-metric punching system till March 31.

The order directs employees of State Secretariat, semi-government, public and private institutions to stop using the bio-metric punching system.

However, all the medical educational institutions will function as usual, a release from the Medical Education Director said.

In a circular, the State Beverages Department clarified that no ban was imposed on its outlets as reported in social media.

Action will be taken against those who circulate fake information, it added.
