CPI(M) politbureau hails resounding victory of LDF in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram/UNI: CPI (M) Politburo on Sunday hailed the resounding victory of CPI(M)-led LDF in the Assembly elections in Kerala.

In a message, the pilot bureau thanked the people of Kerala for once again reposing faith in the LDF.

"After more than 4 decades the incumbent Govt has been reelected in Kerala," the message added.

"The people of Kerala have voted on the performance of the incumbent government, the alternative policies pursued, the manner in which all the natural calamities were tackled, the pandemic and its fall out were handled, welfare measures undertaken and safeguarding the secular democratic harmonious character of Kerala society," the message said.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister in a message said "This victory belongs to the people of Kerala. I thank you all for reposing faith in the LDF once again."

"We need to come together more than ever before to tackle this pandemic and to take Kerala forward in the path of development, welfare and secularism !," he added.
