Currency ban: Mayawati slams Modi,Centre
New Delhi, Nov 26 (IBNS): BSP supremo Mayawati on Saturday attacked the Centre over the issue of currency ban and said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scared to address the Opposition in the House over the matter.
"Narebdra Modi is scared to address the Opposition in the House over the demonetisation issue," Mayawati said while addressing a press conference.
He said the move was made for seeking political gains.
"Common people are suffering today," he said.
The Centre on Nov 8 announced its decision of banning Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes.
