Delhi: ACB raids AAP leader Amanatullah Khan's properties

Delhi/IBNS: Delhi Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) Friday raided AAP leader Amanatullah Khan's house and five other properties in connection with a two-year-old corruption case, media reported.

The case is pertaining to alleged illegal appointments in the Delhi Waqf Board (DWB).

Last night, the current Chairman of the Delhi Waqf Board alleged in a tweet that the ACB summoned him because he built a DWB office.

During the raid, a Beretta nine mm gun, rifle cartridges, and Rs 12 lakh in cash were recovered, according to media reports

The ACB of the Delhi Police summoned Khan for interrogation today at 12 pm over a charge under the Prevention of Corruption Act 2020, as per media reports.
