New Delhi/IBNS: A mob of around hundreds of African origin people Saturday surrounded a police station in South Delhi's Raju Park area, clashed with police and broke out three people who had been detained over visa expiration by the anti-drugs force.

The incident took place after the Narcotics Squad team arrested three African origin people after their visas had expired.

Following the arrests, close to 100 people of African origin gathered at the police station where they were being held, attacked the police team, and freed them from custody.

The police managed to catch one of the three accused, Philip, again.

A team from the Neb Sarai Police Station and Narcotics Squad then caught four others from the area.

The police were able to manage the situation from flaring and are now taking legal action in this regard.
