New Delhi/IBNS: A man and his nephew were shot dead as they were celebrating Diwali outside their house in Delhi's Shahdara on Thursday.

The murder was captured on CCTV, which showed the 44-year-old Akash Sharma, his nephew, Rishabh Sharma (16), and son, Krish Sharma (15), bursting firecrackers on the narrow road outside their house.

A teenage boy is then seen coming on a two-wheeler and touching the feet of Sharma, while the shooter stands nearby.

In a matter of seconds, the shooter fired about five bullets at Sharma, killing him and injuring his son.

When the nephew ran after the shooters, he was also shot dead.

Police arrested the 17-year-old boy, who hired the shooter over a money dispute, said reports.

A case of attempt to murder has been filed against the minor.

According to reports, the murder was planned 17 days ago.
