Delhi police arrest a man in Pro-Khalistan graffiti case

A 38-year-old man was arrested by Delhi Police for allegedly painting multiple pro-Khalistan graffiti at Kashmere Gate Bus Terminal, police said on Tuesday.

HGS Dhaliwal, Special Commissioner of Police, Special Cell of Delhi Police claimed that the accused, identified as Malak Singh alias Malik, has been arrested for allegedly painting multiple pro-Khalistan graffiti at Kashmere Gate Bus Terminal on September 27 on the direction of the banned organisation Sikhs For Justice (SFJ). .

The accused was also tasked to paint pro-Khalistan slogans at different venues, including Delhi Airport on the day of the final match of the Cricket World Cup, claimed Delhi Police.

Considering the gravity of the case, a team of Special Cell was deployed and a massive manhunt was launched to arrest the perpetrators responsible for the graffiti. Finally, the accused was arrested from Haryana, police said.
