Delhi Police detain SP MP aide in relation to Pak spy ring in India

New Delhi, Oct 29 (IBNS): The Delhi Police on Friday evening detained the personal assistant of a Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha MP Munabbar Saleem in relation to the recently uncovered Pakistan spy ring in India, according to media sources on Saturday.

The Delhi Crime Branch detained the aide named Farhat and has been interrogating him.

Meanwhile, Shoaib Hasan, the third person arrested from Jodhpur has been sent to 11-day police custody by a Delhi Court on Thursday.

Hasan was a passport and visa agent who allegedly recruited the other two -- Maulana Ramzan and Subhash Jangir -- who were arrested on Wednesday along with the detained Pakistan High Commission official named Mehmood Akhtar.
