New Delhi/IBNS: Drawing a response from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Delhi Police have thanked Bangla Sahib Gurdwara for providing food to the poor people amid the anti-Coronavirus lockdown.

The Delhi Police conducted a parikrama to show respect to the Gurdwara management.

In a show of respect, nearly 100 police officers drove motorcycles and gypsies around the Gurdwara.

Reacting to it, Modi tweeted, "Good gesture by the @DelhiPolice. Our Gurudwaras have been doing exceptional work in serving people. Their compassion is appreciable."
