Delhi to experience hot day

New Delhi/UNI: Delhiites will experience a hot day Saturday as the maximum temperature is likely to settle around 44 degrees Celsius, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The minimum temperature was recorded at 28.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal, while the relative humidity recorded at 8:30 am was 34 per cent, it said.

The IMD has predicted a heatwave at a few places. There is no possibility of any rain.

"The sky will remain clear. There will be heat waves at some places," an IMD official said.

On Friday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 42.9 degrees Celsius, two notches above the normal.
