Donald Trump participates in massive roadshow in Ahmedabad, visits Sabarmati Ashram

Ahmedabad/IBNS: After his grand arrival in India, with PM Narendra Modi personally visiting the Ahemdabad airport to welcome him, US President Donald Trump is currently participating in a massive roadshow in the Gujarat city.

With conch shells, trumpets and smiles on their faces, thousands of people lined up on the side of the road as Trump's cavalcade passed through the roads of Ahmedabad on its way to Motera Stadium.

Trump also visited the Sabarmati Ashram on his way to the stadium. Narendra Modi joined him during his visit to the iconic Ashram.

Melania and Donald Trump also spun the wheel (charkha) during their visit to the venue.

Trump, who is on his first visit to India since becoming the President, is in the country with the First Lady Melania and daughter Ivanka.

He is visiting India for two days.

Trump will also visit Taj Mahal in Agra later in the day.
