DRDO chief removed by government
New Delhi, Jan 14 (IBNS) Avinash Chander, the chief of Defence Research and Development Organisation or DRDO, has been removed by the Modi government on Tuesday, said reports.
His removal by a cabinet committee on appointments headed by PM Narendra Modi came 15 months before his contract was to terminate. His removal is reportedly without explanation to him.
Media reports quoting PMO said there was no ulterior motives behind the removal.
