Glasgow: Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) activist Amjad Ayub Mirza targeted China and Pakistan over their re-election to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) and described the nations as 'world’s worst human rights abusers'.

He said elections of such nations will damage the credibility of the UN body.

"World's worst human rights abusers set to be elected to the board of the UN human rights council. Countries include Pakistan, China, Cuba Russia and Saudi Arabia. This will seriously damage the credibility of the organisation. #UNHRC #Pakistan #India @UNWatch @PMOIndia," Mirza tweeted.

The UN General Assembly on Tuesday voted to elect a fresh tranche of 15 UNHRC members.
