Explosion at coal mine in Bengal's Birbhum kills 5
Kolkata/IBNS: Five people died after an explosion took place at a coal mine in West Bengal's Birbhum district on Monday, media reports said.
The injured were rushed to a hospital.
The explosion took place at Gangaramchak Mining Private Limited Colliery which falls under the jurisdiction of Lokpur Police Station area.
It occurred due to the coal crushing operations, reports claim.
The rescue operations are underway.
