Farmers' protest: Seventh round of talks between Govt, farmers ends without result, next meet on Jan 8

New Delhi/UNI: The seventh round of talks between farmers representatives and the government concluded without any agreement here on Monday with both sides deciding to meet for the next round of talks on Jan 8.

Emerging from the talks farmers representatives said they would not accept anything less than the total repeal of the three ''black laws.''

They said the government seemed to drag the negotiations on.

The farmers representatives said the government wanted to bring amendments. 

But the farmers only want repeal of the laws, the representatives said.

On Jan 8 also they would demand discussions on the total repeal of the talks, the representatives added.  

The farmers have been protesting for the past several days close to Delhi.
