Fire breaks out in East Delhi residential building, no casualty reported

New Delhi/UNI: A fire broke out in a residential building in East Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar area, the fire department said on Tuesday.

According to DFS, a call regarding a fire in a residential building was received at around 3:34 pm. Receiving information, five fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the blaze.

The blaze was later brought under control. About 12 persons were rescued from the site. No casualty has been reported so far, informed DFS.

The fire started on the first floor of a three-storey building.
