First year MBBS student of AIIMS Hospital commits suicide in girls hostel

New Delhi, Aug 30 (IBNS): A first year MBBS student of Delhi's AIIMS hospital has allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan in her room at the girls hostel, reports said.
The incident was reported by students of the girls hostel at about 3 am after which the AIIMS security and staff immediately informed the police.
 
The body of Khushboo Chaudhary, who hailed from Bikaner in Rajasthan, was taken to the emergency wing of AIIMS where doctors pronounced her dead.
 
She has left no suicide note.
 
The police is now investigating the case.
