Gas leak at Bombay High Oil Rig
Mumbai, July 19 (IBNS) Workers were evacuated from the Bombay High Oil Rig in Mumbai following reports of gas leak in the compound on Saturday.
The Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) activated the safety procedures immediately.
The drilling operations was shut down, reports said.
"This is a minor leak. The leak was spotted by our team few hours ago. Our plugging team has already started working. Evacuation of contractual labourers have been done. There is no reason to panic," ONGC official told CNN-IBN.
