German Bakery blast suspect arrested in Kolkata
Zahid Hussain, 27, is a Bangladeshi national and he is suspected to an operative involved in the Pune blast that had killed 17 people. He had entered India from Bangladesh on July 2.
The suspect had come to Sealdah station from Bongaon by train when he was nabbed, said police sources.
Hussain was held by a special Kolkata Police team.
On Feb 13, 2010 a blast ripped through Pune's German Bakery in Maharashtra. The blast killed 17 people, and injured at least 60 more, including foreigners.
Among the dead were siblings from Kolkata- Ankik Dhar, 24, and Anindyee Dhar, 19, from Salt Lake. Their friend Shilpa Goenka and Rajeev Agarwala were also killed in the blast.
