The guests attending the consecration ceremony on Monday will be given Mahaprasad along with the food prepared with desi ghee on the temple premises.

Mahaprasad is being prepared by Gujarat's saffron army called Bharti Garvi Gujarat and Sant Seva Sansthan under the guidance of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

National President of the institute, Kamal Bhai Rawal said that three responsibilities have been assigned to him by the Trust, including preparing Mahaprasad along with making arrangements for the stay and food of the saints.

He added that Mahaprasad has been prepared with more than 5,000 kg of ingredients by a team of about 200 people.

Mahaprasad has been prepared from pure desi ghee, gram flour, sugar and five dry fruits.

All the ingredients have been prepared by the institute itself to ensure the purity of Mahaprasad, he said. No ready-made ingredient from the market has been used.

He said that more than 20,000 packets of Mahaprasad have been prepared. Each packet contains two laddoos, water from the Sarayu river, Akshat, betel nut bag and Kalava.

The Mahaprasad packet has been prepared keeping in mind the Sanatani tradition. The packet of Mahaprasad was handed over to the trust by the institute on January 21.

The trust is providing food to more than 5,000 saints every day. The Trust has made arrangements for their accommodation at Udasin Ashram Ranopali. A kit is also being given to the saints, which includes a blanket, pillow, and sheet.

Apart from this, the trust has made arrangements for the guests’ food on the temple premises. Guests will be served sattvic vegetarian food along with legume and millet-based dishes. These dishes will be prepared by chefs from Varanasi and Delhi. Apart from this, thepla, almond barfi, and matar kachori will also be served to the guests.
