Haryana: Man strangulates wife, children before killing self

Jhajjar: A man died by suicide after strangulating his wife and two children in Madana Khurd village in this district on Sunday night.

Police said on Monday that the deceased has been identified as Naresh (44), his wife Suman (40) his children were Anushka (16) and Naman (14). Naresh was working in a factory in Rohad village here.

SHO Sunil Kumar rushed to the spot and found bodies of Suman and Naman in a room of the house, while Anushka’ body was lying in another room. However, the exact cause of deaths will be ascertained after the post-mortem report, he added that Naresh's body was also found hanging in the house.

SP Arpit Jain said the police registered the case against the deceased Naresh on the complaint of his brother Ramesh Kumar who also disclosed that he was taking medical treatment for some mental-health related ailment.

The police took the bodies and sent them to Jhajjar civil hospital for postmortem.

An investigation was underway to find out the exact reason behind the incident.
