Himachal Kalyan Sabha to felicitate NDRF

New Delhi, Sept 24 (IBNS) The Himachal Kalyan Sabha, an apex organization of Himachalis settled in national capital New Delhi, will honour and felicitate a team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) which conducted one of the biggest rescue operations of its kind in Himachal Pradesh in which two of the three trapped workers were saved after a nine-day-long ordeal in an under construction tunnel in Kiratpur-Nerchowk four-lane project being constructed by a pvt company.

This was informed by D D Dogra, President, Himachal Kalyan Sabha here on Thursday.

He said that all team members of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF)  will be invited in Himachal Kalyan Sabha annual function being held on Dec 20 in New Delhi and will be honored for their courage, commitement  and professional  dedication and expertise in conducting  one of the most difficult rescue operations successfully
