Hindu priest in Uttar Pradesh caught in video giving rape threat to Muslim women

Lucknow/IBNS: A Hindu priest in Uttar Pradesh was heard in a video giving rape threat to Muslim women while addressing a gathering in Sitapur district, media reports said.

In the video, a man in saffron clothes was seen sitting inside a car and saying if a Muslim teases any girl in the area then he will openly kidnap and rape Muslim women, drawing loud cheer from people listening to him.

Chants of "Jai Shree Ram" were also heard after the priest's threat.

India Blooms has not independently verified the video.

The man alleges a plot to murder him. He claims Rs. 28 lakh has been collected for the same.

Sitapur Police reacted to the viral video and said action will be taken on the basis of facts.
