Home Ministry freezes all bank accounts of Greenpeace India
New Delhi, Apr 9 (IBNS): The Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday froze all bank accounts of Greenpeace India with immediate effect.
The step was taken following serious allegation that Greenpeace is involved in anti-development campaigns across the country.
According to the Ministry, Greenpeace claims the misrepresentation is a typographical error.
Greenpeace has also been served a notice to show cause why it's registration should not be cancelled.
