New Delhi: India's High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswami said that the history of India and Bangladesh is a combination of 'essential reality' and that 50 years of friendly relations would be even stronger in the future.

India wants to extend all kinds of cooperation to Bangladesh as a friendly neighbor.

The unified history of India and Bangladesh has been created in terms of some 'essential realities' like the war of liberation.

Indian High Commissioner made the remarks while addressing the inaugural function of the Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU) 'Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam Library' on Sunday (April 10).

DRU General Secretary Nurul Islam Hasib presided over the function. Former President of DRU and other leaders also were present.
