Guwahati/IBNS: Security forces of the Spear corps of Indian Army undertook  an initiative to improve the condition of the road connecting the last border village of Gelling in the Siang valley, Arunachal Pradesh.

The army troops provided assistance in terms of manpower, vehicles and equipment to the far flung border village in improving the dilapidated road state caused by extreme weather conditions.

It led to better road connectivity for  daily  commute  and essential facilities for the people of the remote village of Gelling.

The initiative was well appreciated by the locals.
