Indian Mujahideen terrorist Arij Khan arrested by Delhi Police

New Delhi, Feb 14 (IBNS): The Delhi Police have arrested an Indian Mujahideen terrorist named Arij Khan alias Junaid.

He was wanted for involvement in  five bomb blast cases.

"Khan was involved in many bombing incidents including 2008 Delhi serial blasts, 165 people died in incidents he was involved in," Pramod Singh Kushwaha, DCP, Special Cell Delhi Police was quoted as saying by The Times of India.

He said the arrested person was an expert bomb maker, conspirator and executioner.

Arrested Khan was  present at Batla House, along with four others, on Sept 19, 2008 in Delhi's Jamia Nagar.

In the incident,  two Indian Mujahideen terrorists were killed.

Khan managed to escape during that time, reports said.
