New Delhi, Nov 8 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, Indigo ground staff members have dragged and manhandled a passenger at the Delhi airport, which was evident in a video recorded by another staff member, media reports said.

The incident occurred on October 15 when a passenger Rajiv Katiyal got himself into a quarrel with few ground staff members, who were later seen to drag and throw Katiyal down on the ground.

The quarrel was regarding the luggage and the passenger was prevented by the staff members from boarding the bus to reach the terminal.

Indigo has apologised for the entire incident, media reports said.

Montu Kalra, another Indigo employee, shot the entire video of the incident and was later sacked by the airline.

Minister of state for civil aviation, Jayant Sinha, reportedly spoke to Indigo founder Rahul Bhatia and asked for a detailed report.

Days ago, Indian badminton star PV Sidhu complained about the bad experience she had while flying in IndiGo 6E 608 flight to Mumbai.

"Sorry to say ..i had a very bad experiencewhen i was flying by 6E 608 flight to bombay on 4th nov the ground staff by name Mr ajeetesh..," Sindhu tweeted.

Airlines major IndiGo was quick in responding and posted: "This doesn't sound good. Kindly share your booking details via DM so we may look into it."
