The Israel Embassy team in India wished the nation on Republic Day in a unique way with its diplomats dressing themselves by wearing attires from various corners of the country.

"#HappyRepublicDay India!" the Israeli Embassy wrote on Instagram.

The Embassy also added Hindi to its wish.

"This year, our team of @israelinindia embraced the spirit of India’s #RepublicDay, a celebration of our shared values & diversity," the Instagram post further said.

"Watch our diplomats don traditional attire from various Indian regions as they extend heartfelt wishes in regional languages," the post further said.

Israeli envoy Naor Gilon led the team by wearing ‘mundu’ (dhoti) and ‘veshti’ (a shawl covering the upper body).
They also greeted India in multiple languages spokes in various corners of the country.

India celebrated its 75th Republic Day on Friday.

French President Emmanuel Macron attended the main event in New Delhi as the Chief Guest.
