Jammu and Kashmir: Dir Horticulture attends Bal Divas at Gurez

Srinagar: Director Horticulture Kashmir Ajaz Ahmad Bhat Sunday attended the Bal Divas at Khandiyal Gurez.

He was accompanied by sub-district Magistrate (SDM), CHO Bandipora, SDPO, BDC, chairperson, Tehsildar, Executive Engineer, R&B, BDO, sarpanch and all frontline worker in the Balsabha.

Director Horticulture distributed stationary items, poly green houses and kits to the lactating mothers.

On the occasion various issues and demands concerning the general public were discussed that includes providing of medical staff, macadamization of roads, providing of water connections, wash room facility and installation of towers at Razdan top where new electric line is established.

The team of officers headed by Director Horticulture Kashmir also visited underground bunkers where the demand for providing mating and water connections was put forth by the public.

Bhat assured the public for taking up the issues with the concerned authorities for early redresal of such demands.

Chief  Horticulture  officer  Bandipora  was  instructed  to  provide  quality  fruit  plants  of different  varieties  and  seeds  to  the  farmers  under  backyard  Horticulture  by  end  of October 2020.

Later, Bhat visited Chorwan, Achora, Tarabal, Tulail area and inspected various works and assured the public for taking their genuine demands with the concerned authorities.
