Jammu and Kashmir: Police recover 7-kg IED, foils Pulwama like terror attack

Jammu/UNI: On the second anniversary of Pulwama terror attack, Jammu Police on Sunday foiled a similar type of attack by recovering an Improvised Explosive Device from General Bus Stand here.

Police sources here said that acting on specific inputs, Jammu Police along with other security agencies carried out searches near Bus Stand and found IED weighing 7-kg.

“Major tragedy has been averted with recovery of 7-kg IED,” sources said, adding that IGP Jammu Mukesh Singh will also brief media here at 1630 hours.
