Jammu and Kashmir: Two policemen injured in grenade attack in Pulwama

Srinagar/UNI: At least two policemen were injured when militants lobbed a hand grenade near the post office in South Kashmir district of Pulwama on Sunday afternoon, official sources said.

They said the two police personnel who were on duty near the post office received splinter wounds in the blast.

However, police have yet to confirm the incident.

Both the injured have been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment, the official added.

Soon after the incident, security forces launched a cordon and search operation to nab the culprits, the sources added.
