JK: Pakistani terrorist killed during encounter with security forces in Kulgam

Srinagar: An encounter between terrorists and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district on Thursday left a Pakistani terrorist affiliated with proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) dead.

The slain terrorist was identified as Babar Bhai of Pakistan, police said.

Police said he was active since 2018.

Police said one AK rifle, one pistol and two grenades were recovered.

"#KulgamEncounterUpdate: Killed JeM #terrorist identified as Babar bhai of #Pakistan, active since 2018 in the areas of Shopian-Kulgam. One AK rifle, one pistol and two grenades recovered. @JmuKmrPolice," Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.
