Raichur/UNI: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Sunday appealed to the people to support night curfew and follow the corona rules to control the pandemic.

Addressing press persons here, Yeddyurappa sought people's cooperation, especially from places where the curfew has been imposed.

He said, as the coronavirus is spreading, we have taken this measure to control it.

But we are not imposing any lockdown in the state now, he said.

Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said that he had received the call from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed the Covid situation in the state.

Yeddyurappa said, "Vaccination drive will be conducted from April 11, Jyotiba Phule's birth anniversary, till April 14, Dr BR Ambedkar's birth anniversary and people should take the vaccine without any fear."
