Kashmir: Man killed by unidentified gunmen

Srinagar/UNI: A person was killed by unidentified gunmen in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Sunday evening, official sources said.

The deceased has been identified as Ghuman Nabi Mir.

According to official sources, unidentified gunmen fired at a person at Tral in Pulwama.

''The injured was immediately taken to a hospital where he succumbed,'' they further said.

They stated the gunmen managed to escape due to the chaos created by the firing.

“A security force team has been rushed to the area and a search operation has been launched to nab the attackers,” they further stated.

A case has been registered and further investigation was underway, the sources added.
