Kerala HC gives nod to catching stray dogs and sterilisation
Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 4 (IBNS) The Kerala High Court on Wednesday gave a nod to catching stray dogs in the state and sterilising them, asking the local body to intensify the process, reports said.
The court gave the ruling in response to several petitions that wanted removal of stray dogs from the streets.
The court said that a situation where stray dogs become a threat to human life should be avoided.
The petitions also sought government interference to end the stray dog menace. Some petitions also sought for culling of stray dogs.
