Kolkata celebrates Japanese Emperor Akihito's birthday

Kolkata, Nov 21 (IBNS): Showcasing the strong bond shared between India and Japan, the Consul General of Japan in Kolkata Kazumi Endo hosted a reception at a hotel in Kolkata to celebrate the birthday of Japanese Emperor Akihito on Friday.

Speaking at the event, Endo said he wishes to see the relationship between India and Japan to grow stronger in the upcoming days.

"I am very much happy to see the ever growing relationship between India and Japan. I hope that the relationship between the two nations will further grow closer," Endo said IBNS.

He said he was happy to celebrate the birthday of the  Japanese Emperor  in Kolkata.
