Kolkata: Fire breaks out at a restaurant in Camac Street

Kolkata/IBNS: A massive fire broke out at a restaurant in Camac Street area of Kolkata on Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out at an under-construction restaurant which is in a building opposite to Allen Park. 

Several fire tenders have reached the spot.

Fire and Emergency Services Minister Sujit Bose was also present on the spot.

The fire is contained. It will take some time to douse the film but the situation is under control now, police said.

The residents in the nearby buildings have been evacuated.

Speaking to the media, Sujit Bose said, "The fire broke out from a temporary shade. The situation is now under control."
