Chandigarh: The parents of slain Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh alias Sidhu Moosewala met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Technical Airport in Chandigarh on Saturday.

Balkaur Singh, father of singer Sidhu Moosewala, had sought a meeting with the Union Home Minister to press for investigation by a central agency into the murder of his son.

A few days back when Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat had visited the residence of the slain singer to express condolences to his family, the parents had requested for a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Shekhawat had told them that a meeting will be arranged with Union Home Minister Amit Shah when he will visit Chandigarh on June 4.

The parents of the Punjabi singer have not disclosed any details of the meeting.
