M Venkaiah Naidu bats for sports literacy in India

New Delhi, Aug 25 (IBNS): Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday pledged his support towards sports literacy in India.

Tweeting about it, Naidu said, As we celebrate success of Sindhu,Sakshi, Deepa,along with this we should pay attention to ‘SportsLiteracy’ as suggested by Gopichand."

Naidu also highlighted the need for infrastructure in the nation.

"Preparing for sports is very important need to create infrastructure everybody should have some physical exercise," the UD Minister said.

Urging the government and corporates to come forward and join hands in the endeavour, Naidu tweeted, "We need to provide adequate sport infrastructure. Government, Corporates and all well meaning people should come forward in this endeavour."
