Madhya Pradesh: Blasts rock fireworks unit

Harda/UNI: Three serial blasts occurred on Tuesday at a fireworks factory within a village in this district’s Bairagarh area though official confirmation is awaited regarding casualties.

Police quoted preliminary reports as saying that the explosions were heard over a radius of 20 km.

Dwellings in the vicinity of the factory subsequently caught fire.

A team of administrative and medical officials rushed to the scene from here.

A similar incident at the facility claimed three lives about five years back.
