Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan tests Covid-19 positive

Bhopal/IBNS: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has tested positive for Novel Coronavirus or Covid-19.

Chouhan and his relatives have quarantined themselves.

He tweeted, "My dear people of the state, I was having symptoms of Covid-19. After the test, I have tested positive. I appeal to my colleagues who came in contact with me to get tested. My relatives have quarantined themselves."

Chouhan said in another tweet that he would try to assess the Covid situation in his state via video conference.

In his absence, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhuppendra Siingh, Medical Education Minister Vishvas Sarang, Health Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhury will attend the Covid meetings.
