Maharashtra: 41 year-old doctor commits suicide

Kolhapur/UNI: A renowned doctor from neighbouring Sangli district committed suicide on Friday by hanging himself at Vadagaon village in Hatkananle tehsil of this district.

According to Hatkananle police, the deceased doctor identified as Santosh Jagnnath Dhole (41), a resident of Dhulgaon in Kavathe-Mahankal tehsil of Sangli district and working at 'Dhanvantari Healthcare Centre' in Islampur in Sangli district, was found hanging from a tree in the jurisdiction of Vadagaon village Friday.

The police, who rushed to the spot, found his I-card of the hospital in his pocket.

Police are investigating the incident, whether it was a suicide case or any case of sabotage.
