Mumbai/UNI: Shiv Sena senior leader Ravindra Waikar on Wednesday said he has submitted certain documents to the Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday.

Waikar, a senior Shiv Sena leader and believed to be a close associate of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, was questioned by the ED on Tuesday for nearly eight-hours.

Waikar on Wednesday replied to a query raised by a reporter who said that he had gone to the ED office on Tuesday where he was questioned for nearly eight hours.

The agency had sought some documents from him, which he submitted with the ED officials. However, he declined to divulge details of the questioning.

He further said no case was registered against him and the agency just wanted some documents from him which he had submitted to them, he added.
