Maharashtra: Two teenage Rajasthan runaways traced in Thane

Thane, Sep 21 (UNI) The Crime Branch have traced a pair of minor boy and girl,both of whom,fled their houses in Rajasthan back in 2018,informed police on Saturday.

According to police,the boy identified as Aditya Shankarlal Meena (18) and the 16-year-old girl,hail from the Borkheda locality of the Kota city in Rajasthan.

Both of them studied in the same school and left their houses in June 2018,said police.

Based on the complaint filed by their parents,a search for the pair was on,and it was this week when Rajasthan cop Champalal Jangid got a tip-off that the pair was present here.

Hence,Assistant Sub-Inspector Jangid came to Thane and later the duo was spotted near the CIDCO Bus stop, mentioned police.

The duo worked in some establishments as they lived in Thane,added police.

The pair have since been handed over to the Rajasthan Police,it was stated.
