Massive fire at saw mills in Nagpur

Nagpur/UNI: A massive fire broke out at four saw mills and one door making unit at Lakadganj area here on Thursday.

According to police, the blaze erupted in one of the saw mills and soon engulfed the nearby three saw mills as well as and one door making unit. Hence, a huge chunk of timber was gutted in the fire.

One of the workers present there sustained minor burns in the mishap, which occurred at around 0600 hours. 

As many as 13 fire tenders struggled for two hours to bring the fire under control. The reason behind the fire and material loss could not be ascertained yet, police added.
