Mizoram governor resigns, refuses Nagaland posting
New Delhi, July 11 (IBNS) Mizoram governor Vakkom B Purushothaman, who was being transferred to Nagaland, resigned on Friday as a mark of protest, said media reports.
According to reports, Purushothaman refused to take over as Nagaland governor. New Mizoram governor is Kamla Beniwal, who was in Gujarat earlier.
Several governors were either transferred or made to resign after the new government of Narendra Modi took over.
