Bhopal, Dec 4 (IBNS): In a strong move, the Madhya Pradesh Assembly on Monday unanimously passed a bill which will hang rapists of girls aged 12 years or below till death.

This comes after the Shivraj Singh Chouhan Cabinet approved the bill last week.

The bill has been named Dand Vidhi (Madhya Pradesh Sanshodhan) Vidheyak, 2017.

It will now go the Centre for approval.

The bill will need the assent of the President to become a law.
