Mumbai: Court dismisses mother's plea for special probe into late actor Jiah Khan's death
Mumbai, Feb 9 (IBNS): Bombay High Court, on Thursday, dismissed a petition filed by Rabia Khan challenging the Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI's) charge-sheet which termed actor Jiah Khan's death as suicide and not homicide, according to media reports.
Jiah Khan's body was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her home in June 2013.
The late actor's mother Rabia Khan had made a plea that a special investigation team be constituted to probe the case of her daughter’s death.
The court ruled that there was no reason to interfere in the investigations being undertaken by the CBI, media reported.
