Mumbai police prepared to thwart possible terrorist attack on Mumbai: Balasaheb Thorat

Kolhapur: Even as terrorists sent a message of attack on Mumbai to transport police, the police system is alert and there is no any chance of attacking Mumbai, state former minister Balasaheb Thorat expressed confidence.

Talking to reporters Saturday afternoon, after a farmers' rally, Congress MLA P N Patil organized 'Sadbhavna Daud', at the premises of Shree Rajiv Gandhi Door Girni' at Dindnerli village on the occasion of 78th birth anniversary of late prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Thorat, on a message to transport police by terrorists that they would repeat 26/11, said no attack incident would take place as Mumbai police was alerted and police administration would take care of the threat , he expressed confidence.

He said according to information, all police stations and police systems were put ready to face any threat.
